Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known by his stage name Badshah, is an Indian rapper and singer known for his Hindi, Haryanvi, and Punjabi songs. He started his career in 2006 alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh in his band Mafia Mundeer. He split from Honey in 2012 and released his independent Haryanvi song Kar Gayi Chull, which was later adopted into the 2016 Bollywood movie, Kapoor & Sons. His music has been featured in Bollywood soundtracks for films such as the 2014 films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Khoobsurat.
Badshah was born in Delhi, India. His original name is Aditya Singh. Badshah is his screen name which was given by Yo Yo Honey Singh, a well-known rapper and music composer. Just like his name sounds, he believes in living life king size. Badshah completed his schooling from Bal Bharti School, Pitampura, New Delhi. He did his graduation from PEC, Chandigarh in civil engineering. He was passionate about music since childhood and used to write since he was in school. In 2006, Badshah made his debut with Honey Singh and got famous among youth in metro cities. He also released his solo tracks, the beginning of his solo career was in 2012. If not be a rapper, he would have been an IAS officer. He has given his contribution to Bollywood movies. His favorite genres on which he works are hip hop, Bollywood. He has also collaborated with Gippy Grewal and associated with famous people like Sonam Kapoor, Raftaar, Raxstar, Diljit Dosanjh. He is now a rapper, singer, songwriter, and musician. Badshah is best known for his songs, including Tu Meri Baby Doll, Dhup Chikk, Saturday-Saturday, Abhi To Party Shuru Hui Hai, Bad Bay, Selfie Le Le Re, Aaj Rat Ka Scence, Akkad Bakkad, Teri Yaad, Kar Gai Chull, Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai, Kala Chashma, The Breakup Song, The Humma Song, Tamma Tamma Again, Mubarakan, Trippy Trippy and Happy Happy etc. Badshah also appeared in many singles and he received many awards for best rapper.
