Pritam Chakraborty: Career
After his sound engineering course, he came to Mumbai in order to pursue his professional career in the same field. He began composing ad jingles with several other strugglers like Jeet Gannguli, Sanjay Gadhvi, Shantanu Moitra and Rajkumar Hirani.
Then, he began making classical music with western influences and his composition for the movie Dhoom was successful. The title track in Dhoom became popular all over the pubs in USA, East Asia, and the UK. For his performance on the track, he was able to earn a Zee Cine Awards for the category of Best Track of the Year.
