Sayantani Ghosh (born 6 September 1979)[1] is an Indian actress.[2] She made her debut with the popular television series Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan where she portrayed the role of Antara. She later became well known for playing Amrita in Naaginn, Satyavati in the historical series Mahabharat and Nivedita Basu in Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar. In 2012 she participated in the reality show Bigg Boss.[3] She rose to prominence in 2016 by playing the supporting role of Neela Parikh in the melodrama Naamkarann. Currently she is playing the role of Dr. Anjali Gupta in StarPlus' medical drama show Sanjivani (2019).

In 2016 she joined the main cast of romantic drama Naamkaran, playing Neela Parikh until her character's death in February 2018.
