Javed Ali was born to a verteran qawwali singer named Ustad Hamid Hussain. Under his guidance he started singing from a very young age. Legendary singer Ghulam Ali was highly impressed by his voice and gave him an opportunity to sing in his concerts. That is how he came to reckoning. He made his singing debut through Bollywoof film Beti No. 1's song Chori Chori Aankh in the year 2000. Since then he has sang various songs. He came to limelight after he sang the superhit song 'Ek Din Teri Rahoon Mein' from the film Naqab in 2007. For his song Jashn-E-Bahara, he won best playback singer award as well. He has several hits to his name and has sung some of the most famous Bollywood songs like Guzarish, Aa Jao Meri Tamanna, Tinku Jiya, and Kun Faaya Kun among various others.
